So why Manuka honey?
Simply put, honey isn’t what it used to be. Most honeys you find in conventional grocery stores aren’t much different from high fructose corn syrup. You have to be cautious when buying honey to make sure you are buying one that has actual nutritional benefits and isn’t just loaded with sugar. For starters, always search for the raw, unpasteurized variety. Then, if you are able to spend a little more on your honey (It’s totally worth it), there’s one honey you need to find that has incredible healing benefits and up to 4 times the nutritional content of normal, unfiltered flower honey…Manuka honey! It’s produced by bees in New Zealand who pollenate the Manuka bush, and has been used for thousands of years as a form on natural medicine. Some benefits include, reducing and/or healing IBS, boosting immunity and energy, improving skin tone and texture, and improving sleep! You can learn more about the incredible benefits here! I’ve been using Wedderspoon 100% Raw Manuka KFactor 16!
