Drinking tons of water & lemon water
Drinking water is something so simple that most of the time it’s overlooked. Drinking water works wonders for my skin, mood, energy levels, etc. Also, the hype is real over lemon water. It helps detox, balance your PH, and aids in digestion – plus it tastes great. I try and drink one glass of lemon water in the morning and one at night alone or in hot tea.
Making my own plant-based milk
The Almond Cow is a game changer. Having fresh plant-based milk (legit any nut, grain, seed combo I’m feeling) in the fridge has saved me $$ and I know exactly what I’m drinking. I don’t have to worry about the random fillers, additives, or gums in most store bought milks plus I’m using less packaging because I’m not buying a jug of milk a week. Not checking my phone right when I wake up
This one is sooo hard but it seriously helps so much. If I check it right away my day usually spirals into a dark anxiety hole because I start thinking about the million and one things I need to do, DM’s I need to answer, Emails I need to respond to, errands I need to run, etc. This year I’ve been waking up, feeding Bay, drinking water^ duh and making matcha or coffee. Once I have a moment to myself, then i’ll start my day.

She said at the end of everyday she asks herself what’s one thing she did to further her career that day. Try it- it really motivates you for the next day to make sure you’re accomplishing at least one thing that’s pushing you forward.
I’m the queen of talking myself out of treating myself…seriously. The thought pops in my head like “oh, I’d love a massage, my neck is so tight” and then I think of 10+ reasons on why I shouldn’t spend money on a massage. This year: if I want a massage, I deserve a massage. #selfcare2019 here I come lol
